From 1 December 2020 the CNIPA-EPO pilot (which will run for two years) will give nationals or residents of the P.R. China the option to select the EPO as their International Searching Authority (ISA) and as their International Preliminary Examining Authority (IPEA), when filing international patent applications under the PCT for which either the CNIPA or the International Bureau (IB) of WIPO acts as receiving Office.

Maria Augusta Fioruzzi, Managing Partner, Dr. Olga Capasso, Head of the Patent Department and Dr. Massimo Cimoli, Head of the Trademark Department. Dr. Robert Fichter, Managing Director of Dennemeyer & Associates S.A., will join the board, ensuring international development and integration.

 Also, De Simone & Partners’ head office remains at the iconic building located at 20, Via Bellini, in Rome.

Aippi London 2019

Olga Capasso shall attend the AIPPI 2019 Word Congress at London Sept 15-18. As to Italian representative of the AIPPI Biotech Committee Olga shall participate to the joint meeting with the Pharma Committee.

 The Congress shall give the chance to authors to celebrate the publication of the Antibody Patenting: A Practitioner's Guide to Drafting, Prosecution and Enforcement 2019 Wolters Kluwer Edt. wherein Olga drafted the chapter related to Italy.

Together with Linkem, Sara Assicurazioni and Toyota, the program is looking for people to lead the transformation of urban living in terms of innovation, sustainability and efficiency.
